Extraction. It’s the concept at the heart of any truly wonderful cup of coffee. And yet, only in the past few years have coffee professionals started to explore extraction in a widespread and meaningful way. James Hoffmann—a champion barista, award-winning roaster, and well-respected author—is one of the world’s foremost ambassadors of extraction, spreading the word during speaking arrangements around the world. Ben Kaminsky, another seriously renowned expert on roasting, tasting, and all things coffee, is another influential advocate. We created our Coffee class in conjunction with these two java Jedi—a duo fiercely devoted to leveling up the brew game in cafes and home kitchens alike. The core of the class is a series of lessons on extraction—what it is, how to measure it, and how controlling it can help you produce the greatest cups of coffee you’ve ever had—using any brewing method you want. CLICK HERE TO GET BREWING.(This is a sneak preview of our new Coffee class.)
