How do you make a cocktail sauce so good that even the most beautiful, perfectly cooked shrimp becomes nothing more than a vehicle for picking up as much sauce as you can with each dip? Make it all from scratch.
We whip up a fresh chile ketchup and spike it with freshly grated horseradish for a cocktail sauce with deeply savory notes and two kinds of heat—the fresh bite of Fresno chiles and the nose-clearing spiciness that only freshly horseradish can deliver. Along with balanced acidity provided by vinegar, lemon juice, and lime juice, this is the only cocktail sauce you’ll want to eat, or serve, ever again.
