So, you’re standing at the grill flipping burgers, brats, or chicken legs when you think to yourself—man, I really want something saucy on the side for dipping. With one of these grilled spreads, you can turn this passing thought into a smoky, delicious dip. Grilling vegetables and fruits before chopping or blitzing in a food processor adds extra layers of flavor—from a kiss of smoke to heavily charred. Each dipping delight below was developed to balance the grilled flavor with fresh herbs, bright citrus, sugar, and salt. Maximize your grilling time this summer. Throw a few veggies or fruits on the ’cue alongside your protein du jour to whip up one of these delicious spreads—from apps and snacks and delicious dips, they’re a great side dish addition to any barbecue menu.
