From Honduras and El Salvador, pupusas are round, filled masa pockets cooked up on a griddle. They’re one of our favorite snacks.Using fresh masa dough, you can fill pupusas with refried beans, cheese, or a mix of both. Shaping these takes a little practice (believe us—we had some not-so-pretty results at the start). Check out the video and steps below for guidance. Once you really get the hang of it, you may just have to skip Taco Tuesday in favor of these delightful handheld snack packs.
