You could sit and watch the tide roll away on the dock of Old Bay, or set sail for new and flavorful horizons. New Bay is here to assist with your every seasoning whim. When it comes to seasoning seafood, Old Bay—in its bright yellow tin—has been the go-to for over 75 years. We use it. We love it. We wanted to pay homage to this old-fashioned classic using 21st century techniques. We turned to our favorite new-fashioned technique—blending spices with roasted and dehydrated vegetables—to create this bright, celery-forward seasoning that pays tribute to Old Bay’s celery seed-heavy mix with the sweeter flavor of fresh celery stalks. (We used this same process to make our Creole Spice Blend and Ultimate Umami Seasoning Powder.) A touch sweeter than its classic counterpart, New Bay is also slightly smoky, a little spicy, and low on salt so you can be heavy-handed with the seasoning. Absolutely delicious on seafood (especially salmon patties), you can use this to flavor just about anything.
