While we tend to associate “heartiness” with meatiness, this recipe makes it easy to have a comforting and hearty meal, sans the meat. If you’re on a vegan or vegetarian diet, looking for a delish pasta dish that will satisfy even the most diehard meat-eaters, or simply want to make a meal for Meatless Monday, this recipe checks all the boxes. (Regardless of whether or not you make your own pasta from scratch.) This savory meatless sauce is made possible thanks to our epic three-ingredient plant-based “meat” base. Whip up a big batch of that, and you’re set whenever the pasta (or taco) cravings hit.
