Recipe development
Follow along as we develop a recipe from start to finish. Each day, our chefs keep notes as they modify, test, and improve their recipes. Use what you learn to test our recipes and offer suggestions, or develop your own!
Classes
Drawing on our years of combined culinary experience, we create hands-on online classes about food and cooking that are both informative and entertaining. We won't tell you how to use a whipping siphon or make macarons from scratch — we'll show you.

Just realized that I've eaten this scrumptious French creation when I was a teenager while growing up abroad and it was one of my favourites, one of many. What I've had were circular but it was just as rich as the square ones. I love the saltiness of this recipe...thank you for sharing your wonderful video with the world, ChefSteps is by far my most visited site. I sort of made mistake making this first batch, rolled it too long on the last fold. I decided to throw the sugar/salt mixture in between the extra fold, it seemed to turn out alright. I placed the (hate to call it...) scraps into my round and square food molds that I have on hand and rolled them in circular shape for sentimental reason. This was a great afternoon project, it'll be a bigger batch next time.
