Beef Liver, Skinned

Beef liver is a large, smooth organ that ranges from a dark to a light brown color with reddish tints. It has a roughly rectangular shape and strong flavor. Beef liver can be sliced or sold as a whole. Beef liver has a membrane on the outside which can be peeled off. When this is done the liver is sometimes called "skinned".
